Why is there an amount for more than £30 on my statement if the contactless limit is £30?

This could be because the single transaction shown on your statement is made up of a number of smaller contactless transactions when you’ve travelled with Transport for London (TfL). The total shown will be a daily combined amount. If you think you've been charged the wrong amount, please check your TfL online account or give us a call.

  • You can get in touch with TfL Customer Services to check your journey breakdown on 0343 222 1234*, or
  • You can give Barclaycard (including Barclaycard PayTag) a call on 0800 151 0900 for anything else. For call charges click here.

*Call charges apply – please visit tfl.gov.uk/callcharges for details.
