What happens if I get my Barclaycard PIN wrong?

If you enter the wrong number three times running when making a purchase, even if it's at three separate shops, your PIN will be locked and you won't be able to use it in store until it's unlocked. To unlock your PIN you'll need to visit a UK cash machine and enter your PIN correctly. This will automatically unlock your PIN.

You have three attempts to enter your PIN correctly in a UK cash machine. If you enter the wrong number three times your PIN will be locked. You'll need to contact our Customer Services Team to unlock your card or if your card has been retained by a cash machine.
