I've been given a temporary passcode to log into my account online, how do I use it?

You may have been given a temporary passcode to log in with if you called us, to either reset your details or to register for access to your Barclaycard online account.

Visit our login page to get back online within 24 hours of being given your temporary passcode. If it's been more than 24 hours you'll need to call us again.

Enter your user ID or Username, or if you don't know these you can enter your 16-digit card number instead.

We'll ask you for your temporary passcode and then you'll be able to set up the new details you'd like to use each time you log in.

Once you've set these details up, each time you log in you'll be asked for:

  • Your user ID or Username (you can use your 16-digit card number if you can't remember).
  • Your 6-digit passcode
  • 2 letters from your memorable word
  • You may also be asked from time to time for your card security code (CVV), or to enter a one-time verification code that we can send you by text message.

You can change your login details at any time by selecting 'Secure login details' which you'll find under 'Your details' in the top menu.
