My Barclaycard is lost or stolen, what do I need to do?

If you’ve lost your card or it’s been stolen, it’s important to let us know as soon as you can, so we can cancel your card.

If you’re registered to use the app

You can block your card straightaway by opening the app and choosing ‘quick links’. Then select ‘Cards’ and then ‘Report card lost or stolen’. You’ll also be able to order a replacement card.

If you're already registered online – send us a secure message

1) Choose 'Help, messages and phone numbers’ which you'll find under 'Help' in the top menu.
2) In the ‘Secure messages’ section click ‘Start new conversation’
3) Choose the ‘Lost and stolen’ option.

It can take up to 24 hours to respond to secure messages

Check your statement in case there’s been any fraudulent activity on your card. We’ll get your new card to you within three to five working days.
