I paid my credit card bill but it's not showing on my statement - what should I do?

Please note that different types of payments take different times to process.

If you pay by debit card, you'll need to make your payment before 23:45 on the day your payment is due. If you've got a Direct Debit set up, it will automatically be taken in time for your payment due date.

When you pay from a non-Barclays account, it can take up to three working days to reach us - and when you pay by post, it can take up for four working days to process. Please also make sure you leave enough time for delivery.

If you're sure you've made your payment on time and it's still not showing, please contact your bank or building society to check on the status of the payment - if you don't have sufficient funds available in your account, the payment will not be processed.

Alternatively you can contact our Customer Services Team, if you're still not able to resolve the issue. You'll need the date and approximate time of when you made the payment, and any payment authorisation code you have.
